표준 기반 등급 지정은 1D 및 2D 코드의 품질 등급 지정을 위해 DataMan 고정형 바코드 리더기 및 In-Sight 시리즈 비전 시스템을 선택할 수 있는 소프트웨어 기능 키입니다. SBG는 DataMan 검증기와 동일한 검증 등급 알고리즘, 보정 프로세스 및 사용자 소프트웨어 인터페이스를 사용하지만 국제표준화기구(ISO) 가이드라인에서 요구하는 고정각 조명을 포함하지 않습니다. SBG는 PCM(Process Control Metrics)과 같은 기존의 바코드 품질 소프트웨어를 충분히 신뢰할 수 없고 ISO 규정 준수가 필요하지 않거나 불가능할 때 사용하기 적합합니다.
Why Standards-Based Grading?
An increasing number of industries require compliance to ISO or industry application guidelines that can only be met with ISO-compliant barcode verifiers. However, not all applications are able to use ISO-compliant verification due to mounting restrictions or barcode placement.
SBG is the closest way to achieve reliable and repeatable barcode diagnostic results similar to verification without conforming to specific lighting angles, working distances, or mounting restrictions. With SBG, the reader can be calibrated to unify the camera’s measurement of reflectivity levels and all ISO quality parameters are reported.
Unlike SBG, PCM does not have a calibration process, follow the ISO grading algorithm requirements, or report every quality parameter. While PCM results can provide a good idea of code quality, the results can also vary significantly between setups and hardware used.
