The StingRay accessory transforms the built-in flash into an aiming pattern that makes barcode scanning easier for operators while eliminating the need for virtual on-screen aimers.
The StingRay accessory seamlessly integrates with the Cognex® Manatee Works™ Barcode Scanner software development kit (SDK), which supports decoding of more than forty symbologies on all major mobile, desktop and server platforms, including Apple® iOS and Google® Android. This powerful combination of hardware and software enables application developers to implement cleaner and more efficient mobile applications. As a result, mobile devices can replace expensive, traditional mobile computers for light industrial scanning applications.
