Document Your Vision System As You Build Your Testing Routine

We’re often asked by OEM about the best way to show support documentation of what their machines do. This is key consideration in industries such as pharmaceuticals where solid documentation is important.

When you are writing the procedure testing the validity of your machine vision application, you can put that test procedure together in a way that actually allows you to documenting your inspection system as you write the test routine. You’re identifying where all of the input parameters are. You’re identifying what defects the system is looking for and by having a library of images, you’re also documenting what performance you’re getting out of the system through those images.
