Liquid Lens Technology Simplifies Barcode Reading

When we chose to add liquid lens technology to our already flexible portfolio of lens options for DataMan industrial ID readers, they made a great leap for our customers. The liquid lens simplifies installation, setup, and maintenance by eliminating the need to manually touch the lens to get it into focus.
There are lots of benefits of using the liquid lens:
- It provides a large range of focal length
- It’s rugged because it has no moving mechanical parts
- It provides good optical quality with fast response times
- It can operate in a wide range of temperatures and requires very little power
Over the past couple of years, we were able to integrate variable focus liquid lens technology into both our Fixed-Mount Barcode Readers and well as our Handheld Barcode Scanners
