Image-guided radiotherapy helps medical professionals perform non-invasive on patients. During treatment, the patient must remain exactly in position, so high-precision monitoring is necessary.
Precise 3D patient position control also plays an important role during radiologic examinations (e.g. X-ray, CT-scan, NMRI, etc.) since the patient needs to stay in the right position during the whole examination to produce meaningful medical images for further diagnosis.
In this webinar, we'll discuss how medical professionals are using 3D and deep learning vision technology to:
- Capture high-resolution 3D images of the patient and merge them with intraoperational stereoscopic X-ray images and thermal signatures of the patient with up to sub-millimetric accuracy and low latencies (less than < 100 msecs)
- Check whether the patient is in the correct position before X-ray exposure
