The power of an In-Sight vision system with the simplicity and affordability of a vision sensor

Easy to use, industrial-grade smart cameras with advanced machine vision technology.
Vibratory bowl feeders are one of the most common devices used to feed components into an assembly line. One of the most time-consuming tasks associated with bowl feeders is ensuring that components are being fed in the correct orientation. Mechanical solutions, like catch points, need to be custom-built. Vision sensors, by contrast, can quickly be set up to recognize and reject components arriving from the feeder in the wrong orientation.
In-Sight 2000 vision sensors can reliably and repeatedly locate parts with wide variations in orientation, size, and appearance – all without the need for an external trigger. Sensors can detect a part – even if it is in a different position or at a different angle – as long as it is in the field of view. This allows manufacturers to quickly orient parts in the bowl feeder and verify that they are correct. The automated approach is simple, robust, and cost-effective.
