Control Engineering magazine has named In-Sight® 7000 a 2013 Engineers' Choice Award Winner in the Machine and Embedded Control ― Machine vision, barcode readers category.
The 26th annual Control Engineering Engineers’ Choice Awards shines a light on 29 categories of control, instrumentation, and automation products, revealing the best of those introduced in 2012 as chosen by the magazine’s print and digital audience.
The In-Sight 7000 is a series of vision systems designed for industrial inspection, location, defect detection, guidance, alignment and measurement applications which feature powerful vision tools, all in a compact, industrial IP67 package.
According to Control Engineering, “The In-Sight 7000 series offers features that make the system ideal for more applications than ever before. These features include autofocus which allows users to simply set and save the optimal focus values associated with the inspection of specific parts. This makes In-Sight 7000 the ideal choice for production situations requiring regular part changes or projects that require the vision system to be placed in hard-to-reach spaces. In-Sight 7000 also features integrated field-replaceable lighting with five different color options, giving users total flexibility to support any vision application.”
