The DataMan product line of barcode scanners can consistently provide higher read rates than laser scanners. The DataMan 500 reads 1-D or
2-D codes presented in any direction at high speeds for postal, parcel and package sortation as well as presentation scanning. The DataMan 300 reads fixed 1-D barcodes for high speed tote scanning and print and apply lines.

The adjustable focus of the liquid lens gives DataMan maximum depth of field flexibility for even the highest speed applications. This proven technology, already integrated into Cognex industrial readers, is reliable and fast and has good optical quality and low power consumption.
