DataMan fixed-mount barcode readers offer industry-leading performance with patented Cognex 1-D barcode and 2-D matrix code reading software algorithms, flexible optics, lighting options, easy setup, and quick deployment.
DataMan 50 and 60 series
The unprecedented small size of DataMan 50/60 series make it an ideal replacement or addition for applications where single-line or raster laser scanners are used. Providing unmatched read rates of 1-D and 2-D barcodes, performance feedback for process improvement, and a reliable solid state design with no moving parts that can wear out and require replacement, the DataMan 50/60 series consisitently outperforms laser scanners.
DataMan 300 series
The DataMan 300 series offers the flexibility of integrated and controllable modular lighting and optics paired with 2DMax+ to read DPM (Direct Part Mark) codes no matter the mark type or surface. Intelligent tuning automatically adjusts the integrated lighting and variable focus liquid lens settings to find the optimal setup for your part. And with Hotbars™, the 1DMax+™ algorithm can provide higher read rates of damaged 1-D linear barcodes at a faster pace than ever before.
DataMan 100 and 200 series
The DataMan 100/200 fixed-mount readers offer the 2DMax+™ algorithm which can identify and decode severely damaged or poorly marked 2-D matrix codes and the 1DMax™ algorthim which accurately decodes 1-D linear barcodes. The DataMan 200 series provides fast Ethernet communication, laser aimer and optional variable focus liquid lens technology.
DataMan 500 series
The revolutionary DataMan 500 is a barcode reader powered by Cognex VSoC™, a proprietary all-in-one vision technology developed by Cognex. Field interchangeable lighting, flexible optics (including the liquid lens variable focus option) and ultra fast autoexposure allows the DataMan 500 to reads codes so well, that it doesn’t have to be positioned optimally to achieve high read rates.
