Cognex has several technical support centers for SmartView inspection systems. These are located in the United States, Germany and Japan. These support centers provide technical information and system support services to our worldwide customers. Our support staff based in many locations throughout the world. They are dispatched from the regional technical support centers to customer sites when on-site service is required.
In addition to the times listed, 24x7 technical support is also available to customers with a support services contract. Although support is available 24x7 for customers with a support program, non-critical issues should be addressed during standard office hours. Cognex contract service customers, with a Remote Support Service or Service Support Package can contact Technical Support at the numbers listed below to resolve issues with their systems.
During initial system installation support is also available to customers on a 24x7 basis. After installation and commissioning have been completed, customers without a contract may contact the support line during standard office hours, but will be billed at the standard service rate schedule. Contact your regional support office for a schedule of service programs and service rates.
