Before going into High Tech Product Management I used my mechanical engineering degree to design a variety of exciting mechanicals including plastic molded injection parts for point of purchase environments. Now, at Cognex, I have primary responsibility for our line of DataMan handheld barcode readers. With the launch of the DataMan 8000 series and the DataMan 500 it is an exciting time for image-based ID readers. As for personal interests, I enjoy traveling, skiing, hockey, tennis, motorcycling, AND READING BARCODES! (but not all at the same time)
